CARE

LEATHER

LOVE

While our craftsmen handle leather with the utmost care, leather is a natural material made from animals, therefore differs from hide to hide. Each hide may accept colour dyes a little differently during the tanning process, this may cause irregularities in the consistency and depth of the colour. variations in the texture of the leather should not be considered a fault but inherent of the natural beauty and individuality of fine leather

CARE

All leather can be damaged and should be treated with care. We recommend the following:

•       Avoid exposing your leather product to water and high humidity.

•       Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

•       Avoid contact with oily substances, make-up and solvents.

We only use premium quality Leather. It is the policy of THE UNIFORM to accept no returns on product for any reason where the cause is due to the nature of leather products.

CASHMERE

LOVE

Cashmere is one of the rarest fibres in the world, combed from the undercoat of goats. Because it is soft and fuzzy, cashmere can be prone to pilling, caused by rubbing during regular use. This is perfectly normal, and pilling can preferably be removed with a sweater comb.

CARE

To keep your cashmere in the best condition possible, we recommend airing your cashmere over washing it, not only is this much more environmentally friendly, the fibres are naturally breathable and odour resistant, meaning a simple airing should do the job of a nice refresh.

However, if you do need to wash our cashmere products, we recommend hand washing with a little cold water and mild detergent. Please then lay the item flat to dry, so the item does not disfigure.

If you treat our products with care, they will be a long term companion.

We only use premium quality Cashmere. It is the policy of THE UNIFORM to accept no returns on product for any reason where the cause is due to the nature of cashmere products.
